What's New in Mouse Tracks 2007?

Mouse Tracks 2007 (version 6) is a major upgrade. The 2007 version adds many features while maintaining its intuitive interface.  Listed below are the highlights of the new features in Mouse Tracks 2007.

Major new Features

Windows Vista Compatible 

All major Tables in Mouse Tracks now support File Attachments! 

Rewritten Integrated Update Feature keeps you informed of News and Patch updates available for Mouse Tracks.

Two User-Definable Boolean (Checkbox) fields have been added to the Major Tables.  In Addition User Definable fields are only displayed if they have been 'defined'.  This provides for a cleaner interface by only showing you the fields you actually use.

Minor new Features

A Status Bar is displayed in the main window that will show you the number of open tickets and purchase orders. 

Updated graphical program command buttons.  They now inherit Windows XP and Windows Vista Desktop Themes.

Updated icons and navigational toolbar.

Peripheral and Computer records now store the warranty expiration date in a database field.  This allows users to easily create reports and graphs filtered by the warranty expiration.

On Start-up, Mouse Tracks now double checks for a valid database connection before displaying the Database Connection Wizard. 

Database Field Translations now default to a consistent 'camelCase' format.

Bug Fixes

E-mailing from Mouse Tracks now properly resolves multiple 'cc' targets.

You are no longer prompted to 'reactivate' inactive items when you are viewing entries in the database which were active at the time they were created. 

User ID changes or deletions now cascade to related Ticket Type values

Purchase Orders closed via the Purchase Order List now properly record this action in the PO’s history.

Printing multiple copies of a report now prints the appropriate number selected in the Printer Dialog.

Fixed bug in purchase order history field when toggling the taxable value of a line item.

If applicable, Knowledge Base records now properly store the value of the help desk ticket that created the Knowledge Base record.

Fixed a bug that made the Primary Key of a record null when editing through Datasheet Mode.

Printed purchase orders no longer display ‘POShipCompany’ in the ship to field if no ship to company was defined in the ‘tbl_shipTo’ table.  If the ship to company name is not defined Mouse Tracks will now use the tbl_shipTo.shipID field for this value.

Fixed a bug that caused Mouse Tracks Audit 32 to crash on some computers with USB keyboards.

Fixed a bug that caused redundant field choices to be displayed in the filter form.
