NEW FEATURES
Major Grid listings in the program now hyperlink the first field which allows the default action to be performed by a single click on the hyperlink. Previously this feature was implemented in the Service Desk and Knowledge Base Grids. This has been improved to allow for any field to be placed in the first position and it will automatically wrap it with a link to the record.
IE9 is now supported natively and does not require 'compatibility view'. Firefox and Chrome issues with drop down lists have been resolved as well.
The 'Save Notify & Close' feature now brings up an intermediate window allowing a technician extra options before sending an email. The options include being able to select the 'Technician', 'Requester', and/or add an additional email address to be notified. The 'prebody' text may also be modified before sending the email.
Admin--Lookup Tables. User Definable tables now show their translation value in parenthesis. This makes finding the correct defined table easier.
HTML editors within Web Tracks now support full page editing mode.
Four New application themes added - Gritware, Office 2010 Black, Office 2010 Blue, Office 2010 Silver
Added Computer Name, and the User ID assigned to the computer to the 'Comp Tag (allocated)' field in peripherals.
Keyboard Support has been added for the major grids within Web Tracks.
Added support pop-up info boxes for Manufacturer and Vendor fields.
When typing in to dropdown combo lists the match method now searches the entire text rather than 'starts with'.
BUG FIXES
The purchase order section now allows PO editing without requiring the user to have 'Inventory' privileges.
Added a web.config file to the services folder. This fixes a permission denied message when accessesing Web Tracks Services when the authentication mode was set to one of the pass through options.
International regional settings that use commas for number separators no longer cause Web Tracks to display an 'incompatible database version' message.
Fixed bug where the Email-To-Ticket converter could maintain a lock on the database (applied to access databases only) that would then cause an Error when trying to access the Web Tracks interface
Fixed issue in PO line item form where when a cost center was added (that didn't previously exist in the list) the form would show an error that 'parameter length cannot be less than 0'
Fixed a bug that would cause the report filter to be lost when creating a new report.
Can now access linked documents from related records (edit button now working)
The Vendor Account Number field is now saved when editing a vendor record.
Fixed the bug that didn't allow a user record to be copied using the grid's duplicate record shortcut
Fixed bug Where restricted technicians cannot filter for 'closed' service desk tickets using the radio buttons.
OTHER
Session state length settings has been moved out of the admin--application settings. This is now configurable through the SessionState object in IIS.
Buttons in application are slightly larger to allow for compatibility with all application themes
The Web Tracks Windows Service will not post Email-To-Ticket Converter error messages to the Windows Event Log if the POP3 settings have not been setup.
