HOW TO: Reset the Internet Information Server (IIS) on Windows 2000

Description
Resetting the IIS Server Completely should be done through the Windows Command Prompt. Stopping and starting the service through the IIS Administrative Console GUI does not reset all components of the IIS Server.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. From the start menu, choose Run then type 'cmd' and press return to open a command prompt.

2. Type 'iisreset' and press return.
