INFO: What's New in Mouse Tracks Web 7.0

Description
Mouse Tracks Web Version 7.0 is a Major Upgrade

New Features

Active Directory authentication support has been added. This gives you the option to have users logon to Mouse Tracks Web with their AD user ID's and Passwords. If this option is not selected the web interface will use Mouse Tracks passwords.

Pre Logon Message has been added to logon screen. For example you may want it to read 'Logon using your AD user ID and Password' if you're using AD Authentication.

Preview Field Length can be set for both the help desk list and the knowledge base list. This allows you to limit the text displayed in the preview fields. This provides a cleaner look since records with large amount of text data will be truncated to the set values.

Navigational Menu is adjusted based upon whether a technician, administrator or end-user is logged in. Previously options were disabled. Now they are hidden if the user does not have appropriate access.

Option has been added to email configuration section to choose where the link-back to the ticket will be placed. Choices are Top, Bottom or Exclude. Choosing the bottom option can provide a cleaner look for those viewing emails on smart phones.

New theme 'Aqua' has been added.

Default font appearance for status text, welcome message, and footer text has been updated to match other fonts used in Mouse Tracks Web.

All tabs in the web interface now auto-size their height based upon the amount of controls they contain. This was added for consistency. Previously only certain tab screens behaved this way.
